American McGee said Alice IP holder Electronic Arts has refused to fund the development or consider licensing options. The decade-long push to get Alice: Asylum--a theoretical third game in the Alice series--has ended, announced developer American McGee. Alice madness returns sold over 1 million copies worldwide - a testament to its popularity and success (source: VGChartz). Yet despite this proven track record and fan demand, EA remains unmoved.  

We understand that business decisions are complex. However, we believe that with proper funding and licensing from EA, Alice: Asylum could be another successful addition to their portfolio while providing joy and relief to millions of gamers worldwide.
