Having reviewed the drone and interviewed professional pilot Alex Riganas, it became apparent that while the DJI AIR 3s excels in many areas, it falls short in some vital aspects that were not anticipated. Alex, myself and many users on forums have encountered unexpected issues in the footage, specifically notable moiré patterns and artifacts. These imperfections are disheartening, especially when compared to the glowing early reviews that highlighted the drone's capabilities.

The primary culprit appears to be the drone's lowered maximum bitrate from the previous AIR 3 model and the compression algorithms’ limitations in handling diverse scenes. Given the technological advancements and the expectations set by early reviews, the current maximum bitrate of the DJI AIR 3s simply does not suffice for many passionate creators seeking higher quality in their visual storytelling.

By increasing the maximum bitrate of the DJI AIR 3s through a firmware update, DJI has the opportunity to enhance user experience significantly. This alteration would also be very much welcomed by those American drone pilots who are currently unable to buy the Mavic 4 Pro, thereby boosting overall sales for DJI.

We, therefore, urge DJI to release an update that allows users to harness the full potential of the AIR 3s. Such an improvement would not only benefit existing users but also strengthen the DJI brand in customer satisfaction.
