No family should have to live in fear in the place they call home. For more than three years, our family has endured a persistent pattern of racist harassment, intimidation, and targeted misconduct by Nicole Silva-Cedano and Selena Cedano. This is not just a private dispute. It is a matter of neighborhood safety, dignity, accountability, and the right of every family to live peacefully without harassment or fear. Why We Are Asking for Your Support We are asking the public to stand with us because the conduct reported to law enforcement has been serious, ongoing, and deeply harmful. The incidents include: Repeated noise harassment and disturbances of the peace, intrusive, blaring lights on my property;blocking my driveway, reckless driving and dangerous sideshow activity that put neighbors and public streets at risk; trespassing, vandalism, and damage to our yard and property; Unauthorized entry into my son’s vehicle and recently Selena Cedano is on video holding a rifle.,A racially hostile incident involving a banana thrown into our driveway, which we believe was meant to intimidate, demean, and harass our family; Monkey/banana reference posted on facebook that we believe were directed at our family in a hateful and demeaning manner; and a video-recorded incident showing Nicole Silva-Cedano attempting to use a taser against my two children and me, and a gun was pulled out by Nicole’s husband Tom White. Nicole has pulled her taser out before on her previous elderly neighbors in Antioch, Ca This petition is supported by evidence that we ask authorities to review, including court records, police reports, videos, photographs, witness statements, and social media posts. During court proceedings, Selena Cedano acknowledged making the facebook post about the banana/monkey .We also have video showing Tom White, Nicole Silva-Cedano husband, stating that Selena Cedano threw the banana into my driveway. What We Are Asking the District Attorney to do.. We respectfully ask the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office to conduct a thorough and impartial review of all available evidence, including Oakley Police Department reports, court records, witness statements, photographs, videos, social media posts, and any other supporting documentation, to determine whether criminal charges, hate-crime enhancements, civil rights enforcement, or other appropriate legal action are warranted. We also ask investigators to review reports involving elderly neighbors in Antioch who reported similar incidents of harassment. A full review may help determine whether there is a broader pattern of racist harassment, intimidation, and misconduct that requires action.
