CrossFit is supposed to be a global sport that prides itself on inclusivity. For this reason, many community members are against its partnership with the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP), an organization known for numerous human rights violations.

Several reports have criticized USBP in various situations, including the separation of children from their families, the lack of proper facilities and care for migrants who they have detained, and even cases of physical abuse and neglect (source: Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch among others). Such actions are not in line with the ethos that CrossFit promotes about itself.

CrossFit aims to build strong, resilient, and unified communities, an image greatly contrasted by the actions of its partner, USBP. This partnership is antithetical to the values that CrossFitters have come to stand by and support.

For these reasons, we are requesting that CrossFit drop this partnership in order to uphold its reputation of inclusivity and global unity. In doing so, CrossFit would reaffirm its commitment to its participants around the world and prove that it truly is a sport that embraces everyone.
