Kevin McCarthy has now failed over a dozen times to secure enough votes to become the Speaker of the House. Until a Speaker is chosen, representatives can't do the job we hired them to do: govern. We need to stop this madness and elect a leader who will work for the people. 

It's time for Kevin McCarthy to step aside and for sensible Republicans and Democrats to come together and elect a consensus candidate as Speaker of the House. Our country is diverse and Congress is elected by the people. We deserve a leader who will work for all of us.
