A new Chipotle in our area could afford us the luxury of savouring authentic Mexican-style fast food at our convenience, without the hassle of travel.

The potential site for this establishment, the now vacant premises of a former KFC, is strategically located for maximum success. Our town has shown a notable growth trend with the recent addition of fast-food chains like Jersey Mike’s Subs, Chick-fil-A, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Starbucks Coffee and is further boosted by a new Tru by Hilton Hotel.

More importantly, Lexington is an educational hub, hosting three universities: Washington & Lee University, Virginia Military Institute, and the nearby Southern Virginia University in Buena Vista. The student population alone represents a substantial prospective customer base for a new Chipotle. Furthermore, our town is accessible, with two major Interstates, I-81 and I-64, running through it.

Lexington has a vibrant and growing food scene, and the addition of a Chipotle branch would not only cater to the existing love of its cuisine but would also contribute to the diverse restaurant options that our town proudly offers. We implore Chipotle to consider our proposal seriously and convene to open a branch in Lexington, thereby fulfilling our longing for convenient, authentic Mexican fast food.
