Please Give Us John Wick # 5

As a devoted fan of the John Wick franchise, the unique blend of gritty action and intricate storytelling which brings to life the mysterious world of the High Table that the series offers has deeply millions of fans around the world.

It stands apart in its genre, and these films, particularly due to the remarkable performance of Keanu Reeves, have become some of not just my all-time favorite movies, but the same sentiment is heart-felt by millions of fans world-wide. Keanu is intrinsic to the character, embodying John Wick's intensity and depth of character to perfection. The devotion which Keanu put into the off-screen physical training to bring John Wick realism to life as a character, is an enormous key point in the success of the cinematography and on screen choreography alike.

However, the conclusion presented in John Wick 4 was disappointing, and an injustice to the life story that is John Wick's legacy.

Character endings play a powerful part in the viewer's experience and memory of the story. They shape our lasting impressions and attachments to the story and its characters. To witness John Wick's fatal ending, leaves many fans with a sense of that injustice left in our hearts and minds.

John Wick is a character which we have all come to deeply empathize with; to not receive the closure he deserves - to live so that he can remember his late wife - is a true injustice to John Wick's character.  It leaves us with an ending where not only does John Wick himself die, but in a very real sense, his Wife also loses as John is no longer alive to keep her memory alive. 

John Wick simply must live, because in a world where everyone is a bad-guy, John Wick was the only symbolism of justice and righteousness which existed in that world. 

The John Wick franchise is well-received by audiences and critics alike, showcasing its commitment to craft, its unique action choreography, and exceptional performance from Reeves. According to Box Office Mojo, each sequel has out-grossed its predecessor worldwide, signifying an engaging and expanding fan base.  If Chad Stahelski and Lionsgate were to produce a 5th installment to the Franchise, it too would undoubtedly break the earning records of the previous four installments.

We believe that the creation of John Wick 5 could provide an opportunity for the franchise to correct the disappointing conclusion of John Wick 4.

Not only could it continue the successful progression of the franchise, but also provide a more satisfactory closure for the character and the fans alike. Thus, we urge Chad Stahelski and Lionsgate to consider continuing this exceptional franchise, and to give the fans just one more film.  We urge Chad Stahelski and Lionsgate to give John Wick, and his wife, the ending they both deserve and which John fought so hard to preserve throughout the entire film franchise. 

To deny John the ending where he lives on to remember his wife, is to undermine the entire premise and plot of the previous four movies.... for these weren't movies about a man killing bad guys who wronged him, these were movies about a man fighting to survive to keep the memory of his wife alive.
