My beloved team, the Canberra Raiders, hasn't seen the brightness of a premiership or even come close to it since Ricky Stuart took over the head coaching position in 2014. As a passionate Raiders fan and lifelong Canberra ACT resident, I believe the time has come to initiate change before it's too late. We have a talented group of players who unfortunately are not realizing their full potential under the current leadership. In fact, under Coach Stuart, our Raiders have only made it to the finals three times, with a regrettable loss every time (source: NRL statistics).

However, before Ricky Stuart's reign, the Raiders had a glorious history. Founded in 1982, our team has already won three premierships - in 1989, 1990, and 1994. We have the capacity and the potential, and what we direly need now is a leadership change (source: Canberra Raiders history records). This petition is not to tarnish Ricky Stuart's reputation - he has undoubtedly contributed to the sport and gained respect. But, for the betterment of the Canberra Raiders, it's the right time to seek a fresh perspective, a new style, and a transformative leadership.
