The world has long stood aghast as gross violations of human rights and war crimes continue unabated, against the edicts of global bodies like the UN, International Court of Justice (ICJ), International Criminal Court (ICC), and Amnesty International. It's crucial for nations to uphold international laws and guard human dignity, regardless of geopolitical constraints. Thus, the plea for Canada to take a stand is borne out of a deep-seated empathy and a fundamental belief in justice.

This call is not to target any particular religious community; it is to hold accountable a government that has consistently overridden international law and committed atrocities against innocent civilians. Sanctions and an arms embargo against Israel from Canada would be a powerful message of dissent and a commitment to uphold human rights.

According to Human Rights Watch, the Israeli government has perpetrated crimes against humanity, including apartheid and persecution. Moreover, the UN reports that thousands of Palestinians have been displaced since 1967 due to Israel's prolonged occupation. Yet, substantial international action remains largely missing, underscoring the urgency for nations like Canada to intervene.
