I have been living with Celiac Disease for 13 years, a condition that necessitates a strict gluten-free diet. One of my greatest joys was ordering the Broccoli and Cheddar soup at BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. This dish was not only delicious but also gluten-free, allowing me to enjoy dining out like everyone else without fear of health repercussions.

Recently, however, this recipe has changed. The new version is no longer gluten-free, leaving me and many others who suffer from Celiac Disease or follow a gluten-free diet for other reasons without our favorite dish.

Celiac Disease affects about 1 in 100 people worldwide (source: World Gastroenterology Organisation). That means there are potentially millions of us who can no longer enjoy this soup at BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse due to dietary restrictions.

We urge BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse to bring back the previous Broccoli & Cheddar recipe that was gluten free. By doing so, they would not only be catering to the needs of their customers with specific dietary requirements but also promoting inclusivity in dining experiences.
