The Issue

I am reaching out to you as a concerned parent because my daughter has a gluten intolerance and relies on gluten-free foods to maintain her health and well-being. Aldi has always been our go-to store for affordable and delicious gluten-free options. Unfortunately, Aldi has decided to remove all gluten-free products from their shelves, leaving my family and many others in a difficult situation.

Living in a neighborhood where driving is not an option for me, and with limited resources, Aldi's products were the sole affordable choice. Other local grocery stores offer gluten-free alternatives at significantly higher prices, which adds an unsustainable financial burden on families like mine.

Gluten intolerance is a serious condition that affects millions of people globally. It's not just a preference but a necessity for those dealing with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity. 1 in 133 Americans have celiac disease, and millions more suffer from non-celiac gluten sensitivity, requiring them to depend on a gluten-free diet for their health. Cutting out these essentials only adds to the challenges faced by those needing specialized diets.

We urge Aldi to reconsider its decision and restock the shelves with gluten-free products to support the local community and families who depend on these options for a healthier life.

By signing this petition, you are helping to support those who require gluten-free diets and ensure that everyone has access to affordable, necessary food items. Let's come together and urge Aldi to make a change that positively impacts many lives. Please sign and share this petition widely to bring back gluten-free offerings at Aldi's stores. Together, we can make a difference.
