I am a resident of North TAS, Australia and like many others in my community, I have felt the pinch of the high cost of living. We often discuss this issue on local Facebook groups and one solution that keeps coming up is the need for an Aldi supermarket in our area. 

Aldi is known for its affordable prices and quality products. It has over 500 stores across Australia but none in North West Tasmania (source: Aldi Australia). This leaves us with limited options for budget-friendly shopping.

The absence of an Aldi store not only affects our wallets but also limits our access to a diverse range of products that other Australians enjoy. Many of us already obtain Aldi goods on a regular basis sent to us by family and friends on the main land but we miss out on the items we cannot send. The establishment of an Aldi store here would provide much-needed relief to families struggling with the cost of living and inject new life into our local economy.
