UPS- BRING BACK INTEGRATED GOOGLE MAPS!

UPS- BRING BACK INTEGRATED GOOGLE MAPS!
The Issue
UPS has recently made the choice to remove a (newer) tool that was extremely helpful to UPS delivery drivers on their delivery boards. This same feature is being used by both Amazon and FedEx for several years now. UPS gave its drivers a dedicated tab that utilized an integrated version of Google maps that was fused with UPS's older ORION software (This software is a list-only view of our stops). Having Google maps allowed us for the first time to have a birds eye view of our entire route, and it was a game changer for not only brand new drivers, but also seasoned cover drivers and even veteran bid-route drivers that run the same thing every day. This map integration allowed us to:
-Deliver with efficiency
-View the entire route
-See all roads and plot out our route
-Ensured we didn't miss a stop
-We were able to ensure our deliveries made it to the correct building (especially helpful when you would drive up to an unmarked building/house with no address number in sight!)
-Allowed safe deliveries (Since we had a birds eye view, we could finally see what side of the road the delivery was on, very impactful on busy roads!)
-Ensured on time deliveries/pickups
-Allowed the driver to stay ahead of the work instead of falling behind
-Removed all headaches that came with an unfamiliar/changed route
-And much more, this list would go on forever if all the benefits were listed!
With the removal of this feature, UPS delivery drivers have suffered a huge set back of several years (literally). Typically when UPS removes something, they have no intention to bring it back. This however, should be brought back! Therefore, this petition is for anyone and everyone!
Drivers- You know why you are here, the integrated maps feature was a huge step forward. It removed the headache of being stuck on a list of addresses with no ability to view it on a flexible google maps feature. This hurts us more then helps us!
UPS management (Both Managers and On Road Supervisors)- The removal of maps only makes more certain miss-delivered packages and new/cover drivers falling behind on unfamiliar or heavy mileage routes.
Customers- Both from your residential addresses or your businesses, having your new driver/cover driver know the exact house or building (or general area) of where to deliver your packages is important. It removes confusion and guarantees certainty with proper delivery times, as well as pickups!
I am sure we will get plenty of people saying this is pointless, but for many of us who heavily utilized this feature know the impact that will happen once you lose it. For many ground hubs this feature is already gone, and for those who still have it, you wont have it for much longer! We have to start somewhere and try to raise our voices to corporate and let them know that this is a huge setback, not a step forward. If this manages to garner enough support, we may just be able make a change for the better!
