We live in Sycamore Village in Upper Moreland Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Our township is planning to use our park which is zoned as recreational conservation. And is recognized as permanently protected ..in a land swap deal with a local hospital. In which they will take our only green open space... a ballfield and playground in exchange to remove an abandoned school in another neighborhood with some other bells and whistles included. They plan to build some sort of monstrosity like a parking garage or a questionable medical facility.

We are surrounded by busy roads and big business. This is our last patch of open space. This is where our kids play! There are major concerns from childrens safety, environmental, to property values as this will be in some of our backyards. They offered to give us a fraction of what we are losing for a new jungle gym.

We are fighting, we are trying to save what little space we have. We are a small neighborhood but we are strong. We are putting up a good fight but we need help. Our kids need to run, our kids need this park.
