To the Board of Commissioners of Upper Dublin Township:We, the undersigned residents of the Maple Glen and surrounding communities (“Community”), petition the Board to vote to purchase the property located at 1840 Norristown Road (“Goodman Property”), to restore the Goodman Property as forested open space, and to authorize any other actions useful or necessary to accomplish the foregoing, including borrowing any necessary funds. 
The proposed development of the Goodman Property into townhouses will
·      Add to the already egregious overdevelopment in our Community. 
·      Create additional dangerous traffic congestion, forcing traffic off major arteries and through our neighborhood streets, endangering our children.
·      Be inconsistent with the environmental values of our Community, as the Goodman Property has served as a de facto wildlife refuge and contains environmentally important wetlands.
