The school district of Upper Dublin has cancelled all travel, shows, concerts, field trips, after school activities, and school events until Memorial Day Weekend. This means no proms, no Disney trip, no musicals, no sports, nothing. Yet we are still in school for 8 hours a day in germ filled classrooms surrounded by other teenagers. How is that different? There are no cases in Upper Dublin, and these events are MONTHS in advance, yet they had the AUDACITY to make these ridiculous decisions. GIVE US BACK OUR RITES OF PASSAGE AND THE THINGS WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS SINCE FRESHMEN YEAR.
