The Northville City Council's decision to seasonally close Main and Center Streets was reached after much public input and compromise.  Closing the downtown to vehicular traffic has transformed the streets into the city's "Front Porch," providing a safe, social environment for both residents and visitors. Moreover, it has stimulated economic development, supporting local businesses that are the lifeblood of our community. Regrettably, a lawsuit challenging this progressive action threatens to undo these benefits. We urge you to stand with us in support of the City Council's decision, preserving the vibrant atmosphere and economic vitality that seasonal street closures bring to our beloved city.
