Please sign this petition asking the NSW Government to invest in upgrading Community and Social Housing in Liverpool. 

The condition of our Community and Social housing should not be overlooked or neglected. Yet, we witness such indifference in our community daily. 

Not only do they lack modern facilities and features, but they also pose potential risks to the health and safety of the residents. Furthermore, with the population forecast to grow significantly over the next decade, the situation will only worsen if no action is taken.

Community housing provision in Liverpool is aged and in substandard condition.

We believe that everyone, regardless of income, should have access to safe, adequate, and comfortable accommodation. Neglecting Social and Community housing and its required upgrades creates a divide in society, taking us further away from achieving the liveability and inclusivity we strive for in the Liverpool LGA. 

We therefore urge the NSW Minister for Housing, the Hon. Rose Jackson, and the State Government to prioritise these overdue upgrades. Please help these families and individuals by giving them homes they deserve.
