The Bryan Tennis Center, a vital hub for the community's sports and recreational activities, is facing a pressing issue with its lighting. This problem has notably become a consistent source of complaint among pickleball players who frequent the center. 

An upgrade to meet industry standards is not merely a matter of preference but necessity. Without proper lighting, players face potential safety hazards, including increased risk of injuries due to uneven lighting patterns and shadows that can obscure visibility. Adequate lighting at sports facilities isn't just an enhancement; it's a fundamental requirement that ensures the location remains a welcoming and viable venue for community members and visitors.

We urge the City of Bryan to prioritize upgrading the lighting at the Bryan Tennis Center to comply with industry standards, thereby enhancing safety, boosting participation, and ensuring that our community can continue to enjoy the sport of pickleball without unnecessary hindrances.
