Our beloved town of Greta deserves a park that reflects our vibrant community spirit and caters to all the families who call this special place home. Currently, Norman Brown Park, located on High Street, lacks the modern amenities that other communities enjoy. The facilities have grown outdated, posing safety risks, especially to our children who deserve a safe and inviting place to play.

As a resident and a member of this wonderful community, I am concerned about the state of our town park. The existing amenities are not only inadequate but fail to provide a welcoming environment for families who wish to spend quality time together outdoors. A modern, well-equipped park could significantly enhance the character of Greta, turning it into a destination for play, relaxation, and community events.

Consider the potential benefits of an upgraded park: new play equipment to encourage active and safe play for children, seating areas for families to enjoy picnics, and even fitness stations for adults. Such improvements would not only uplift our town’s character but also promote a healthier lifestyle for all residents.
