Respected Honourable CJI garu

I am writing to you today to shed light on a matter that directly affects over 8 lakh families of bank retirees, including mine, who have been waiting patiently for justice in the case of stagnant pensions. Our community has been stuck with the same pension for the last 30 years, a situation that has caused untold hardship and suffering. This issue is currently pending in the Honourable Supreme Court of India, specifically listed for the No 2 bench on 09.04.26.

The case holds immense significance for all of us, as it is intricately linked to the case of the late Sri MC Singla. Our hopes rest on the continuous efforts of dedicated individuals such as Sri DS Murthy garu from Hyderabad, Sri CN Venugopalan garu from Kerala , and Sri Vasanth Vankudre garu from Kolhapur ( in recent past Sri Vasanth garu  reached heavinly abode, despite his serious ill health conditiins he fought on pension updation and attended respective Courts too, like a soldier in a border protecting our country). The referred three fighters  who have been our pillars of strength, leading the way in fighting for our rightful dues.

Sri DS Murthy garu and Sri CN Venugopalan garu striving their every nerve on pension Updation issue and apprising the facts to all pensiiners at periodical intervals enlighting all pensioners.   Now every pensioner understood who are responsible for non pension Updation  appears  misguided the others like Government,  Bank Pensioners Hon SC too by a few who are acting against pensioners interest reasons best known to them or earlier news which were spread and in circulation in social media platform.

As Hon SC is has taken up the issue on serious note on long pending court cases on facts basis only not on any unwarranted outdated information if on record provided by other parties concerned in the case of Sri MC Singla (Late )

The pensioners, who  dedicated their lives to serving the country's banking sector, now find themselves in financial strain due to pensions that haven't seen any enhancement or update for decades. Imagine the distress of entering retirement with the hopes of living a stable life, only to be left grappling with financial uncertainties due to outdated pension schemes.

The persistent stagnation in pension rates has not only affected our financial stability but has also taken a toll on our health and well-being. At a time when we should be enjoying the peace and tranquillity that retirement promises, we are forced to confront insecure futures due to prolonged court deliberations.

It's imperative that we urge the Honourable Supreme Court to expedite the case and render a judgement that acknowledges our rightful claims to updated pension schemes. The government and judiciary must acknowledge the urgency and importance of this issue and ensure that the retirees, who have contributed so much, receive what they are rightfully owed.

we are demanding justice that has been long delayed, justice that will allow us the dignity and peace in retirement that we all deserve.

Please join us in this urgent appeal for justice by adding your signature to this petition. Let us stand together and call for prompt and fair resolution so that we, the bank retirees, can finally find the peace and security that have eluded us for far too long.

I bring it to the kind notice of Hon CJI and Court No 2 one of the Justice Sri Vikram Nath garu in particular and others in general about the facts  that around 2.50 lakh pensioners have reached heavinly abode with Stagnated pension only  and from January 26 to till 31.03.26 around 17 pensioners also have reacheed heavinly abode :who also not heard of Hon SC positive judgement , getting adjourned for one reason or other reasons known to Hon SC. and now case  is listed to 9th April 26.

We are all  rest assured with Hon SC directions in the month Of March 26 on no adjournment we have hope our pension Updation case will be heard positively and favourable empathetic judgement  will be pronounced at the earliest acceptable to all.

Around 8 lakh pensioners and their families are confident that under Present CJI stewardship and Hon Justice Vikram Nath bench team Hon SC will come to the rescue of Bank retirees pension updation with suitable positive  directions with their Judgement and in case of need by going an extra mile than sticking in any outdated information in the interest of several pensioners families lives keeping in mind and  will take a bold decessions with their decessions on pension Updation positively (as RBI  NABARD employee got their pension Updation settled) bank retirees pension cost will be  from banks pooled funds only no cost to Govt at any cost .

With the Hon SC  positive judgement no person will be adversely affected considering retrospectively also.

I am a strong believer that no one is above Law and Common Sense is above the Law when lakhs of families are beneficial with positive judgement .

Any   documents produced by other parties who are responsible for Stagnated pension if needed needs to be rewritten as lakhs of human lives are involved due to bureaucratic adverse and to be set right by arranging  for positive judgement in respect of Sri MC Singla case.

It is not out of place to mention here that in one occassiin our Hon CJI expressed as under

" JUSTICEC DELAYED

 is not

 JUSTICE DENIED

 BUT it is

 JUSTICE DESTROYED"

In another occassion one of the senior most Advocate of Hon SC expressed that even a mistake is done by either individual or institution( including Hon Courts ) should have openness to accept and to be rectified for betterment.

To err is human accepting is culture rectifying is progressive development .

We are sanguine that Hon SC will do justice to Bank retirees pension case of Sri MC Singla case with favourable positive judgement

"JUSTICE PREVAILS AT ALL TIMES EVEN TO A COMMON MAN WHO CAN NOT FIGHT AGAINST ODDS AND CREATED ODDS"

Hope all concerned will take in right spirit and extend their helping hand to lift a common man instead of pushing down.

With regards

Yours sincerely,
