Fair Park is an amazing asset to our community and provides wonderful resources for individuals and families. However, for many years, the tennis courts have continued to decline in quality and capability for utilization. As an avid tennis player, these courts are no longer functional for use and have become unusable for players. While updating the courts would be nice, there is a better option that would serve a larger population of the Henderson community. Revitalizing the current tennis courts at Fair Park into a new outdoor pickleball facility would provide recreational fun and entertainment for so many within Henderson. Pickleball is growing in popularity and is played by so many currently. This is a great time for Henderson to join in on a sport that will be popular for years to come! It is a great sport for all ages and can help continue to connect people of all generations. Creating these pickleball courts will only continue to grow the opportunities for people in the community and make Fair Park an amazing resource for us.
