Reuters - Aug 28, 2024: This issue is deeply personal, because food is a fundamental right for everyone. When someone steals from a charity, it's not just theft - it's an atrocious act of violation against the most basic human rights. All officials involved in the scandal need to be sanctioned by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)​, GAC​, UNO, and EU under Humanitarian Crimes. There should be no mercy for individuals who exploit the hunger and suffering of others, and we believe that this extends to all, including United Nations Organization (UNO). 

• WFP, USAID confirm investigation of Sudan operation is under way.
• Famine watchdog IPC says 25 million facing food crisis in Sudan.
• Nearly five million people are close to famine as the country’s civil war passes the one-year mark. Aid officials say the warring parties – the army and the Rapid Support Forces – are looting aid or blocking it from reaching areas where starvation is taking hold. But ‘the world’s largest hunger crisis’ is drawing little global attention.
• The investigation comes at a critical time for the WFP, which describes itself as the world’s largest humanitarian organization. It won the 2020 Nobel peace prize for its role in combating hunger and promoting peace. Nobel prize internal committee needs to reevaluate and possibly revoke if applicable.
• Since the Charity was funded by public globally, this UN investigation and evidence needs to be public from the inception of. The entire chain of custody of evidence need to be examined by CFE's.
