We are students in Frisco, TX who live and breathe music. It's not just a hobby for us; it's an integral part of our daily lives. However, we face a significant barrier - the inability to access music streaming services such as Tidal, SoundCloud, and Spotify while at school.

Music has been scientifically proven to enhance cognitive performance and improve mood (source: American Psychological Association). It can help us focus better on our studies and make the school environment more enjoyable. Yet we are denied this simple pleasure due to current restrictions.

We understand that there may be concerns about distractions or inappropriate content. However, with proper guidelines in place for usage during free periods or study time only – along with filters for explicit content – we believe these issues can be mitigated.

Therefore, we call upon the Frisco Independent School District to reconsider its policy of blocking music streaming services like Tidal, SoundCloud, and Spotify within its network. Let's embrace the positive power of music in education rather than shunning it away.
