We need final year students to return to campus, write exams in February and finish their academic year in March.

The world pandemic of Covid-19 had an impact in most of the South African Universities which led to the extension of the 2020 academic year, University of Venda is one the universities who are affected by such.

However, The University of Venda is making first, second, third and honours students their first priority when it comes to finishing the academic year.

They need to consider that the above mentioned groups of students have nothing to lose if they finish the academic year in April compared to us.

Final year students have graduate opportunities and internships waiting for them, but such opportunities can lapse if they don't finish in time. 

They also need to apply for some opportunities that requires a full academic record that they don't even have.

If the University doesn't consider our request many graduates from the University of Venda will spend 2021 sitting at home without jobs.
