UTRGV is charging Lab fees for Labs that we are not even able to set foot in or even access online. That being said, since we have absolutely no access to the lab, the Lab fees should be WAIVED for the fall 2020 semester. It would be understandable to pay they if we had access to the labs, but we do not, They want to charge us Lab fees for labs we have absolutely no access to. I've emailed UTRGV to ask them to waive the fees and they said that the fees are tied to the course and are mandatory, however, what is also tied to the course is being able to experience the lab environment and use the equipment, we are not getting any of that this semester, not even as an option. If they are allowed to not let us use the lab, then we should be allowed to not let them take our money for something we have absolutely no access to (the Lab).
