WUSF-TV is a great alternative to WEDU, who is always having too much pledges. Not that it's a bad thing, but it's good, because pledges help PBS member stations, but too much isn't a good thing. Channel 16 does pledges right! It's also a great channel for our children, whether it's on the main channel or WUSF Kids 16.2. USF is doing something that is against our will. TAKING OUR EDUCATION AWAY FROM US AND OUR CHILDREN, BECAUSE OF A "USELESS" SPECTRUM AUCTION, in my opinion. How could a auction help Tampa Bay learn from education? It can't! So that is why I am asking you to sign this petition to SAVE WUSF! Because next year, it may move to another channel, remove it's subchannels and move to another channel, or there may not even be a WUSF-TV! Do anything you can to save this PBS station, pledge to them, help them, or watch their programming. They also have WUSF Create in 16.3. Without WUSF-TV means Tampa Bay will be the largest market without a Create channel, but we need this channel to be an inspiration to us. Actually, Dallas is the largest market without a Create Channel, but still, we need it. There is also WUSF Knowledge, which is like WUSF-TV, but only during the night. The Florida Channel takes over in the day, and where will the day portion of Florida Channel go? On the bright side, there's still NPR (WUSF-FM), and that's staying, so that is some good news.
