Online classes this fall are not an adequate substitute for in class instruction. Therefore the price of tuition should be reduced to better represent the service students are receiving. While the material of the class may be the same, the delivery is not. It can take up to 24 hours for a question to be answered by email. While in a class room setting, the question can be answered in a instant. Some students can not afford to pay for the quality WiFi required to support online delivery methods. Furthermore not having a face to face instruction limits the college experience in several ways: there is a lack of diversity, communication, and the sharing of ideas. Lastly, USC leadership falsely advertised that face to face institution would resume in the fall when in actuality, most students have online classes. With all this in mind, students believe that a lower tuition is not only deserved, but absolutely necessary.
