Yes, Covid-19 is real. The disruption on society due to the virus is immense - no one can argue with that. However, the fact still stands that many UP students worked very hard over the past years to graduate and this hard work deserves to be rewarded with a graduation ceremony.

For many students, this will be their first, last or even only graduation ceremony that they will have in their lifetime. 

We, therefore, urge UP to not cancel the graduation ceremonies as has been communicated to the students via SMS on 18/03/2020. The students have worked very hard towards their achievements and they deserve the experience of the graduation ceremony as a reward for their hard work and as a celebration of their accomplishments. 

JUST POSTPONE OUR GRADUATION - DON'T CANCEL IT!!!
