The students of the university of lethbridge are absolutely fed up with the duration of the strike. We are here for the professors, but it is not fair for our education and money we have put into this semester for administration to not hear the faculty’s concerns and make some kind of negotiation. Many of us have plans to graduate this semester. Dealing with covid for 2 years, this is the last thing we want to deal with. We want quality education and we have lost our patience with the administration and board. There will be law suites and so many problems as there has been no communication. When there’s over 8000 of us students this is a joke. What we ask for in signing this petition is for the strike to end by administration finally reasoning and making reasonable negotiations and not ignoring the faculty. And number one for all students who have done the work thus far to pass all classes and have no assignments or exams due if we do get to have school again. It is already almost 4 weeks left of this crazy regular semester. Our mental health has left many of us unable to study or think about what to do towards having anger for everything going on. This is a reasonable offer for students and this petition for administration to end the strike by listening and negotiating with a concluding offer and for all students who have done work thus far to pass this semester. So those who need to graduate actually can and so we don’t have to deal with added stress from a condensed or prolonged semester. When everyone has job plans and family plans.

1. End strike and admin to listen to and accept a reasonable negotiation with faculty 

2. Pass all students for spring semester if they have done the work thus far before the strike started. We do not want condensed or extended there’s only four weeks left that’s not fair!
