Give the Class of 2018 24/7 Access to Temple Hoyne Buell Hall

We, the architecture students of the class of 2018 at the University of Illinois, have been plotting and printing using labs maintained by the architecture printing staff since we were freshman. In that time period, we have only had after-hours access to the printing labs located in room 314 of the Architecture building and, previously, the computer lab in the Architecture annex. In that time, we have also been required to plot assignments on the large scale plotters, generally at least once a week. This limited access poses a problem because there are currently two large scale plotters located in room 314 and only one of them is considered operational. These plotters also produce boards at a much lower quality than what is expected by the professors. Additionally, of the three standard printers located in that lab, only one is operational, and this printer regularly prints incorrectly, that is it charges for a print at one size but prints at another.
We would like 24/7 access to TBH because the printing and plotting demands that we face on a daily basis are not met by the resources we currently have available to us 24/7.
