Justice for Fired UGA Whistleblower Who Reported Criminal Fraud Covered Up by Senior Exces

The Issue

Sallyanne Barrow, Associate Director of Operations and Finance at the University of Georgia Alumni Association and a CPA, reported extensive criminal financial fraud and theft of thousands of dollars in state taxpayer money to UGA administrators on September 24, 2013. Sallyanne Barrow was harassed, her financial responsibilities were removed, and she was fired on December 5, 2014 based on false accusations. This job termination was extremely detrimental to Mrs. Barrow and her family because Mrs. Barrow provides the sole financial support for her family. Mrs. Barrow’s younger son, Sam, was diagnosed with severe autism at the age of 3 and juvenile diabetes at the age of 5. Because of the need for constant supervision, Mr. Barrow became a stay-at-home father to care for Sam, and their older son, Jim. Now, due to the actions of the University of Georgia, there are no funds to care for a 22-year old disabled young man with constant medical needs. Officials involved should be held accountable and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Sallyanne Barrow should be rewarded for her courage and efforts. While the financial issue and Mrs. Barrow’s reputation is something that only the University of Georgia can redeem, your help is instrumental. Stand up for ethical people like Sallyanne Barrow and join us in signing this petition to tell the University of Georgia administrators they cannot hide behind closed doors and allow corruption at the highest levels to manifest.
