It was announced earlier today that the University of Florida is banning one of our oldest traditional chants during football games. Kent Fuchs claims the “gator bait” chant has underlying racist tones and will no longer be allowed at the football games and has even removed the music from the UF Band!

Gator fans across the nation are absolutely appalled that our school is trying to erase one of our favorite chants during a football game! 

I ask you to sign this petition to show Mr. Fuchs that we will not take this sitting down! Our voices need to be heard! There are many of us who donate to the school, support the athletic programs, and all around put the University of Florida above any other college in the nation!
