CU has taken away both our fall and spring breaks due to COVID-19. While this is understandable in the sense that students would be inclined to travel and party during the break, it is not fair to take away a much needed break from hard working students. Many students rely on these breaks to relax and decompress mentally. Amidst everything going on in 2020 this break is needed more than ever. Due to this, I propose that teachers do not give any homework, quizzes or exams during the weeks that these breaks would typically take place. We will still attend classes but give us the time outside of class to relax.
