Sign this petition if you support the revival of a social bar-style space at the University Of Adelaide Waite Campus.

As a campus full of next generation industry leader's, a space is needed where students, teachers and researchers across all disciplines can gather to share their knowledge and experience.

As well as enabling students and researchers to mingle, a social bar-style space will enable groups such as the Wine Society (who are currently searching for event venues) to lead their social events for wine/viticulture education. Given that this campus hosts a dedicated viticulture and winemaking course it is necessary to have such a space.

We feel that this addition to the Waite campus will bring our community together, allowing greater educational, networking, mixing of disciplines, social activities and overall grow a healthy long term campus culture.

While we understand that having a space that involves the consumption of alcohol can give some negative connotations, we believe it would lift the environment in the campus. This campus is a dedicated space for study and research in Agriculture, Food and Wine. As such, a space to socially connect these disciplines is of the upmost importance for the future of the Waite campus.
