This petition is our start to getting stricter term limits on ALL government officials. There should not be any UNLIMITED terms for an official to keep running for an election. This is how we end up with career politicians still playing games that were played 30 and 40 years ago. It is time for America to say no more. Set maximum term limits on ALL officials. Senate, Congress, Justices and remove the ability for Governors to run again after 12 years. Each seat for each official should have no more than 8 years that any one official can serve and then they cannot run again. Our government is full of 60 and 70 year old politicians still arguing about things that should have been over in the 80s and 90s. It's time to move forward with younger politicians and not career politicians. We also need to set age limits on offices. Especially the presidential office. Nobody over retirement age should be permitted to run for office. We as Americans get pushed into retirement because we are a liability in the work force yet we allow 70 and 80 year old people to control our entire nation. This is no disrespect to the elderly but it's obsurd. If we are told we are too old to work at 65-67 because we are a liability to the job and other employees than that should also mean you cannot take the responsibility of running and entire nation.
