The intent of this petition is to remind good officers of their oath to the spirit of the Constitution: the duty of an Officer The Law i.e. a sworn officer of the court is to serve, protect, and defend the rights of citizens to safely exercise their rights as free citizens of the United States of America! A sworn officer’s duty is not to interrupt, interfere, or take into unlawful custody of citizens practicing their pursuit of happiness, whether that means operating a small business, walking a dog unmasked, peacefully protesting, etc. A law enforcement officer understands the difference between an unlawful/unconstitutional order, whether that order is coming from the president, governor, mayor, or direct supervisor!
