For 22 years I have worked as a United States Postal Worker. Since 2000 I've been making USPS employees look and feel good about working with my 21st Century designs. Up til now I have almost 40,000 in 34 states wearing Marty Grace Postal Designs. Since 2006 Ive been trying to get approved as a manufacturer and or Vendor. The Postal Service has been telling me that my shirts are not American made. I am an American Union member and they're trying to deny me the American Dream. I found out that they have a Uniform Program that allows Mailhandlers and Custodians to purchase the same Gildan shirts I sell on their uniform voucher. I've had many members of Congress like Hillary Clinton and Andrew Cuomo write on my behalf concerning my approval but the USPS says "Marty Grace is not and authorized vendor". So in 2007 I quite, and since then, God and I have been driving to all the Post Offices in NY and shipping by USPS abroad. Recently the Postal Service said they had hired a Minority company to design some apparel for them but later retracted that decision. Everyone is wondering why Is the USPS over looking an ex employee that is trying to impove their look. I'm sure all the employess will agree with me as they spend their hard eanred money on my new style of Uniforms. It is time for a new look for the USPS and "Designs by Marty Grace" has that look and needs to be approved.
