Justice for Jesse Cody

Justice for Jesse Cody
The Issue
Jesse Cody was wrongfully conviction in Federal court by a Federal prosecutor who willfully allowed witnesses to perjure themselves and encourage them to commit more perjury on the stand while testifying. One witness admitted on the stand that she had her charges dropped to testify however the Prosecutor requested. The US Marshals committed witness tampering with the other witness while waiting for the judge to rule on the exact testimony that was changed. The Prosecutor committed at least 2 Brady Violations in open court and repeatedly lied about the defendant. Unfortunately, the defendant was represented by inadequate counsel and little preparation was done for the trial. The entire legal and trial process was a miscarriage of justice. Jesse Cody has spent over a year in jail and now has been convicted and is facing a sentence of 50 years for crimes he did not commit and the Prosecutor is aware of this. Where is the Justice in our Legal system? We need to bring light to this dark situation and hope to him and his family. The proper authorities need to investigate this Prosecutor and the US Marshals that work under her because she works for the United States of America. And we convict criminals, not innocent men and women.
