As we've seen since the beginning of the Republican Primary through the General Election and every day since his nomination on November 7th, Donald Trump is simply unfit to serve as President of the United States. From mocking the physically disabled to discussing women as nothing other than a p*ssy to be grabbed, he has created a laundry list so long it nauseates even the strongest constitution. 

Look now to an alternative, a phoenix rising from the ashes: Queen Meryl Streep. On January 9th, 2017, a woman considered to be the greatest actress of our time stood to accept the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement. A typical speech would ooze gratitude and humility for the recognition, but not for our savior. Queen Meryl I took the stage and created a platform for acceptance and empathy. What's more, without uttering his name she was able to completely decimate Trump's entire platform of bigotry and hate, stating eloquently: 

this instinct to humiliate, when it's modeled by someone in the public platform, by someone powerful, it filters down into everybody's life, because it kind of gives permission for other people to do the same thing. Disrespect invites disrespect. Violence incites violence. When the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose.

In one brief acceptance speech we saw grace, humility, acceptance -- everything Commander in Chief should embody. So I implore you all to sign this petition. Replace a dictator with a queen, because anything is better than this.
