Congress and Federal Employees need to adjust their salaries & health care to reflect that of the Average Citizen's of $50,462, as well as receive healthcare equivalent to that of our Military Service Members. There is no reason Federal Employees nor Congress should enrich themselves and make more money then somoene who is on the front line fighting for our freedoms, or the working citizen who is the backbone of our economy. They need to live the lives of the Average Citizen in order to understand the issues within our communities and our economy. Congress shall only receive a raise should the national salary average raise as well. Congress shall only receive better healthcare should the healthcare of our Service Members improve. By living the lower middle class life style, the majority of Americans are living, Federal Employees and Members of Congress will be better able to understand the issues facing the majority of American Citizens in this country and will have a vested incentive and interest to resolve these issues.
