We always said it would come to this point. There is an absolute failure in leadership in Lincoln County. The failure to hold culpable parties accountable, remove corrupt employees, the lack of accounting control and oversight as well as the complete failure of competitive bidding has lead to Lincoln Counties inability to meet necessary and important financial obligations. The nepotism and cronyism failed policies have lead to the corruption which has lead to the myriad of lawsuits stemming from misconduct to civil rights violations, incarcerating innocent people and illegal surveillance. Instead of removing the culpable parties the county tries to cover for them. They had no insurance during the majority of the lawsuits. Even if they did insurance does not cover criminal wrong doing. There are many more lawsuits still in process but near filing. Lincoln County needs new leadership, new accounting procedures and ethics rules. The taxpayer is smart not to give them one damn dime otherwise nothing will change with the crooks. The authorities have skimmed so much off the taxpayers coffers there is nothing left to pay the counties most pressing bills. The contingent liabilities alone from the people running the county now will drag the county down for generations there are so many. We need leadership, a plan and accounting oversight. If you are a regular worker for Lincoln County this is your sign you should be looking for a new job because the day is going to come when they will not have money to pay you. The truth is catching up to them folks. Please warn everyone you know about Lincoln County Missouri. It is not a safe place for families and children. The authorities target new people and will be doing it more now than ever since they have emptied the till.
