My name is Josilyn Andrews, and I am a sophomore at Cedar Grove highschool, under DeKalb County Schools. I am conducting this petition due to the inconvenient blocks The school system has put on our school Chromebooks. I do understand that to even have out Chromebooks is a privilege not to mention they provide us with plenty of tools with exclusions to some. My main target is actually the blocks on youtube. I feel as if the blocks on youtube are very much so inconvenient for several reasons. Some outstanding ones are as follows: Our educators try to recommend videos for us and in some cases assign videos for us to watch by providing us with the link, only to click it and be redirected to a blocked screen; Using videos can help us to understand and comprehend the new material. This affects students in more ways than one. Yes, there are students who have other electronics besides their school chrome book and there are also those who don't. There are plenty of households that go without. A simple change could help one, in more ways than one! So please sign this petition and help; help someone out!
