Michole Davila started this petition to United States Department of Corrections

I have contracted covid-19 along with hundreds of inmates in FCI Seagoville. This has been mentally and physically challenging. I'm currently housed with over 200 inmates who tested positive for the virus. It's virtually impossible to prevent contact with this deadly virus or prevent re-contracting the virus. I'm a non-violent drug offender who has been incarcerated going on 15yrs without any disciplinary infractions. I'm considered a low-risk offender for recidivism and I'm eligible for extra good time credit on home confinement. But have not been considered to be released early on home confinement due to Covid-19 pandemic. It's hundreds of inmates here and we are not a threat to the community if we were to be released. There is a lot of injustice going on in this federal prison system, especially when it pertains to the black and brown inmates and the harsh sentences we recieve. We need people to use their platform to help fight for us. Sincerely, Savino Davila#11358031
