Statehood for Puerto Rico

The Issue

Puerto Ricans are natural born American citizens. The citizens are disenfranchised as they have to pay into federal taxes. They have no voting representation in U.S. Congress, they hold primary elections for delegates to cast votes at presidential national conventions  but don't have the opportunity to vote for U.S. President. They are only given enough benefits as citizens that make Congress feel good about themselves. We need to let U.S. Congress know that we support and welcome our American citizens from abroad and accept them as a statehood. They need our help as we would help any other state facing a disaster. Puerto Rico becoming a state can only improve the quality of life for them and stop treating them as second class citizens of the United States. Say YES to Congress in allowing Puerto Rico becoming a state.
