It's estimated that there are 1 million home brewers and at least 4 million home winemakers in the United States. Due to current regulations at the federal level, it's virtually impossible for these millions of people to legally sell their products.

Currently, millions of people start their businesses from home with the aspirations of growing it to a full-time business. Unfortunately, the federal government has made the home-based path to entrepreneurship almost impossible for the home beer and winemaker.

We feel the federal government’s excessive regulation of this industry is only serving to hinder the economic progress of these individuals when the government should be helping to create an atmosphere of prosperity.

We hereby request the federal government begin issuing a new nano license that would allow home beer and wine makers to sell their products within their own state.
