Save and restore the Aral Sea by Building Utopia and Prove Humanity's Commitment to Sustainability

The Aral Sea disaster is the worst man-made environmental disaster in human history. We need to fix this !

One of the nice things about "man-made" disasters is that they can usually be man (& woman) - fixed.

I first became interested in the plight of the Aral Sea after seeing - David Suzuki in a CBC Nature of Things documentary titled: Hospital at the end of the Earth http://www.elanfilms.com/?page_id=541 - and realizing what an awful disaster this is and that we need to do something about it.

That "something" occurred to me in 2009 after learning about the UNPA Campaign and realizing that if a Global Parliament and Government was ever created, it would need a home, and ideally not just a Home in a New Building but maybe even a Home within a whole New City. SEE my proposal - http://buildingutopia.ca/

My proposal is in support of the creation of a proposed United Nations Parliamentary Assembly (UNPA) which in addition to helping to reform the UN and develop a Global Constitution to replace the UN Charter, could also oversee the Aral Sea Project. SEE UNPA Campaign website - http://www.unpacampaign.org/

I am currently petitioning the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) to vote for the creation of a United Nations Parliamentary Assembly (UNPA) in 2015.
