United Nations: Investigate Chechnya's Gay Concentration Camps
The Issue
Over the past week, reports on the ground from Chechnya have been troubling. Journalists are reporting the Chechnyan Government is rounding up gay men, torturing and killing them in what are being called "gay concentration camps".
This is undoubtedly a human rights emergency that needs intervention from the United Nations and other world powers immediately. We are calling for a full objective investigation by the United Nations into this human rights travesty to determine the full extent of violation.
We call on President Donald J. Trump & United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley to stand with LGBTQ people across the world and pressure the United Nations into investigating this situation.
