End Plastic pollution in Juba and the Nile river.

The Issue

Juba, the capital of South Sudan is sinking in plastic waste that the authorities don't seem to pay attention to. The levels of unregulated plastic waste in the city have reached a level that poses an immediate risk to the city inhabitants and the aquatic life in the world longest river, Nile.

We have witnessed with heartbreak plastic waste being released into the river which has clearly impacted the aquatic lives that so many communities living along the river and depending entirely on it for Livelihoods.

These damages being caused are irreversible but we can choose to collectively Save our river and the city now by putting pressure on the authorities  especially the Juba City Council through the mayor to pass strict regulations
