After five grueling years of negotiations between the Association of Flight Attendants (AFA) and management of United Continental Holdings, Inc. (UCH) we, dues-paying members of United AFA, strongly protest and will oppose any effort to erect "fences" or restrictions of any kind to any flying performed by United Continental Holdings, Inc. in any eventual joint contract between AFA and UCH.

Any effort by our elected AFA officials to permit, encourage, or support any restriction on the routes, ID's/pairings, cities, that ALL UCH flight attendants can fly will result in a mobilization of all concerned members to vote "NO" on any proposed joint contract and the initiation of a concerted recall campaign to remove from office ALL AFA officers who support the creation of these "fences".

We DEMAND that all elected United AFA officers remain committed to their sworn responsibilities and fiduciary duty to the dues-paying membership of AFA to oppose, in the strongest possible fashion, the erection of any "fences" around any UCH, Inc. flight attendant bases intended to to restrict, prevent or prohibit pre-merger United Airlines flight attendants from flying those routes.
